Production Engineer

2 nd Shift -; 2pm-Midnight (start time will vary) -; Monday through Friday.
The Production Engineer will be responsible for managing the workload of the wireless production lines.
This role will develop the production plan to ensure resources are available to meet daily forecast volume, including labor planning, machine availability, training, and processing adherence.
This is a customer facing role which will coordinate with the customer's engineering team to deploy and enhance the technical operations.

Oversee the technical operation, deliver on daily production expectations and providing supervision of the frontline technicians.
This role will be responsible for delivery daily production results based on the workload, operational requirements and available resources.
Additional responsibilities including identifying continuous improvement opportunities, setup and troubleshooting testing equipment/fixtures, resource planning, and meeting area metrics.
Key Accountabilities:
Supervise the sites technical service team to delivers a best in class product Collaborate with DHL and Customer engineering teams to develop/enhance work instructions, processes, and procedures Implement new products and solutions on to the operational floor Ensure the systems, processes and toolsets required to execute operational activities at the site are available to the technicians Validate calibration is current for all equipment used in the technical service operation Develop a training plan for each technician based on the responsibility and create a cross training plan for the technicians Maintain all training certifications and records for technicians Schedule operational resources required to meet forecasts and KPIs Works with external and/or customer resources to resolve issues Provides guidance to technicians with troubleshooting most complex product reconfiguration and technical issues Develops and maintains an effective closed-loop learning process that enables techs to successfully resolve more issues Works closely with Test Engineering on programs required to test products, review test performance, and drive improvements from test yield data Troubleshoots pervasively difficult product issues as required, looking for failure trends, OEM defects, and repair process improvement opportunities Required Education and
Experience:
